Zelia Aparecida de Oliveira is a coffee grower from the Vargem Grande community located in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil, 3770 feet above sea level. Oliveria is a proud member of the all-woman cooperative known as AMECAFÉ (The Association of Coffee Women Entrepreneurs in Serra da Mantiqueira) and she has been producing coffee for 11 years, since purchasing her farm Sítio Meus Netos. Oliveria and her family are focused on preserving the environment through sustainable growing methods and improving their community and the quality of day to day life. Her outstanding coffee placed eighth in the Natural Process Coffee category of the annual Força Café Championship. Blue State Coffee is excited to offer this award winning coffee for the first time!
